Pencha Bi FC beat Jollof FC 1-0 in the Serrekunda West Nawettan last Sunday 13th September 2009, at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.

Both teams played attacking football and created wonderful scoring opportunities in front of each other's goal mouth.

Pencha Bi opened the scores sheet through substitute striker Alagie Safion Jabbie in the 54th minute.

Jollof FC fought back and also created dead scoring chances, and in the 56th minute of the game they were awarded a penalty. Unfortunately, the penalty was thrown away by Selleh Jobe and the game ended 1-0 in favour of Pencha Bi FC.

Pencha Bi FC is now second in Group C, with 8 points from 5 games.

The game between Ngoyan FC and German Boys FC is set for today, Tuesday 15th September 2009, at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium, which will determine their qualification to second round stages of the Nawettan proper.

Jollof FC now collects 5 points from 5 games.

Speaking to the Head Coach of Jollof FC, Ousman Sowe shortly after the game, he said, their primary objective was to maintain their position in the Serrekunda West Nawettan zone, which he said, was achieved. He noted that their secondary target was to qualify to the second round stage, adding that they have to take it in good faith since they have achieved their primary objective.

Head Coach Sowe also believed his boys have played a very good game, though unlucky.

Also, speaking was Gibbou Sohna, the team's technician for Pencha Bi FC, who spoke on behalf of the team Coach, stating that Pencha Bi FC had a very good game. He also believed that Jollof FC is a very good side.

According to Mr. Sohna, they have capitalised on the weaknesses of Jollof to defeat them.
