Patrick Silva’s inspired Fortune to the 2014-2015Brikama knock-out title.
The Farato-based outfit beat thr New Yundum-based oufit Yarambamba 2-0 in the finals game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Friday.
Patrick Siva gave Fortune the lead in the 13th minute of the game from a brilliant head from Masaneh Ceesay’s excellent cross.
Patrick Silva also came very close to extending Fortune’s lead in the 18th and 37th minutes of the game but his shots were denied by Yarambamba’s net-minder Saikou Njie.
Patrick Silva sealed the victory for Fortune in the 56th minute of the game from the penalty spot, after Gibrial Sillah was brought down inside the area. As the champions, Fortune went home with a giant trophy and cash prized of D15,000; Yarambamba received D10,000 as the runners-up.
