Pa Saikou Kujabi's Second Division Bundesliga side, FSV Frankfurt won its first pre-season test match against Sandhausen in Sunday's 1-0 dumping in Bruhl.
FSV recorded a significant increase chances and could have made the result more clearly, especially in the second half.
26-year-old Brazilian striker Cidimar recorded the only goal of the game in the 62nd minute.
The FSV Frankfurt will start its third Second Division League Season with a home match against Arminia Bielefeld in the Frankfurter Volksbank Stadium in the 2010/11 season, the German Football League (DFL) announced on Monday.
The game takes place between 20th and 23 August 2010.
"We are pleased that we can start with a home game with Arminia Bielefeld. Although we received a strong opponent, we are satisfied with our kick-off programme and look forward now to our second division, third consecutive season," said FSV CEO Bernd Reisig on club's website.
