One Lamin Jatta, a police officer attached to Serrekunda Police Station recently testified in the CFA theft case involving one Fallou Jange before Magistrate Mbacke of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court.
In his testimony before the court, Officer Jatta informed the court that he could recall on 16th September 2009, between the hours of 12:50am to 01:00am.
According to him, he was at the police station, when the complainant, Sannah Kah came to lodge a complaint that the accused has put his hand into his pocket and carted away with his wallet containing one Million CFA.
He further stated that the complainant came with another person to the station, who was present during the incident. He added that he obtained their statement and later a case file was compiled and sent to the CID office for further investigation.
