A one-day monthly Medal Golf Competition organised by the Fajara Golf Club last Saturday 5th December 2009, wrapped-up at the Fajara Golf Course.
The competition was competed between 24 amateur golf players.
The winner of the ladies prize was won by Elaine Calvert with a vound of 70, while Susan Osvari emerged second.
In the male category, Jad Massry was named the winner with 65 points, while Horst Voss occupied second with 66 points.
Meanwhile, the Gambia Golf Association will organise a one day Golf Competition on Saturday 12th December 2009, at the Fajara Golf Course.
Speaking to Pointsport, J.J. Jatta a professional golfer of the Gambia Golf Association who is looking set for the competition said the professional golfers will play 36 holes, meaning they will play both in the morning and afternoon with the Amateur Golfers.
