A one-day monthly Medal Golf Competition organised by the Fajara Golf Club yesterday ended at the Fajara Golf Course.
The competition was computed between 28 players comprising 3 junior golfers, namely Hamza Saleem, John Kuo JR and Samsou Sallah.
Hamza Saleem emerged the winner of the junior category, with 77, while John Kuo JR came out second with 82 and Samsou Sallah got 83.
The female category was computed between 4 players whose names are Suzanne Lanfermeijer, Linda Larnach, Lynn Tomunson and Sharon Mears.
Suzanna Lanfermeijer emerged the champion with 73, Linda Larnach second with 77,
In the male category, Alan Machray was named the winner after finishing with 67; Alan Collins came out second with 69, while Vimal Shah finished third with 71.
The Fajara Golf Club Committee and members were very pleased to see 3 juniors out and play, and are encouraging more juniors to come out and play golf.
