One
Jaja Faal was recently arraigned before Magistrate Gomez of the Kanifing
Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing from a dwelling house.
Faal denied any wrongdoing and was granted court bail of D90,000 with two Gambian sureties, who must deposit their ID cards.
The case was adjourned to 2 November 2015.
The charge sheet read in court stated that on 14 October 2015, at Ocean Bay Hotel at rooms 306 and 203, in the Kanifing Municipality, he stole the following items: one I-phone mark 5s valued at D35,000, one I-phone 5s valued at D20,000, cash amount of D4,000, 15 T-shirts valued at D2,000, pair of shoes valued at D1,000 and one satellite phone value unknown, total value was over D82,750, the property of one Esther De Grant.
