The club have already embarked on massive training to prepare themselves for the annual summer biggest football jamboree better known as the Nawettan after one year of absence due to suspension by the sports committee.
The club was banned from summer championship in Gunjur for one year after they invaded the pitch in the 2013 season.
Nyokoyorr FC are well-known for possession and crafty football in Gunjur Nawettan in previous years hence their return to the summer championship will attract many football enthusiasts to the Nyamina football field.
Nyokoyorr FC have produced brilliant players for Gunjur zonal team in recent years, such as Brikama United winger wizard Saikouba Manneh alias Safety; Bombada FC Abdoulie S.O. Jammeh alias Beckham; Abdoulie Janneh aka Scholes, Momodou Bojang Jassey aka Gago, and Fasaikou Touray.
