Gambian midfielder Sanna Nyassi has scored Montreal Impacts opener in Saturday’s massive home win over Houston in the Major League Soccer.
The game, which ended 4-2, saw the Gambia midfielder open the scoring three minutes into the match to register his second of the season, according to goal.com.
In the 16th minute, Houston’s Brad Davis levelled the score, but five minutes later Montreal’s player header had them back in front.
Will Bruin sent the match to the half level with his finish just before the break after getting on the end of a ball from Ching that slipped through Montreal’s defence.
Hassoum Camara put Montreal back in front for good in the 60th minute, Patrice Bernier netted from the penalty spot to give Montreal’s two-goal lead and give the game its final score-line.
Montreal Impact recently hammered Seattle Sounders 4-1 in their new stadium and further lost 2-1 to Chivas USA.
Saturday’s home win is more or less a compensation to last Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat to Chivas USA.
The team will play Toronto FC on 27 June at home.
