Nuru Islamic Institute on Friday 19th March 2010 defeated Nuru Din Islamic School by a goal to nil in the opening game of the Inter Arabic Schools Football Competition, at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
Nuru Islamic Institute opened the score line through Muhammed Suso in the 27th minute of the game from a penalty spot.
The championship, which is organised by the Arabic School Sports Development Organisation under the auspices of the general secretariat (AMANA) is geared towards bringing all the Arabic schools within the sub- region under one umbrella through sports activities.
