Njogu Demba and Danish Superliga side Esbjerg weekend 1-0 win over Silkeborg has lifted the team’s chances of leaving the relegation zone, as they struggle to keep up in 15 league matches.
The Danish side, according to soccerway, has won a total of nine titles including 5 Superliga, 2 first division as well as 2 DBU Pokalen championships, but seemed to be affected by a poor starting.
Gambia international attacker Njogu Demba who have so far made 9 appearances for Esbjerg this season without registering a single goal in his name, was used as a substitute a few minutes to stoppage time.
Esbjerg will now host AaB in the DBP Pokalen on Thursday.
