The National Inter-departmental Sports Association (NISA) has set January 31 as deadline for registration for the 9th edition of its inter-departmental football tournament.
This information was yesterday confirmed to Pointsport by the secretary-general of NISA, Saikou B. Jarju.
Thirty-two teams are expected to take part in this year’s tournament, Jarju says, adding that NISA has written to all the relevant institutions or departments to confirm their participation.
D6,000 is the registration fee for taking part in the tournament, he reiterated, urging companies that want to take part in the competition to pay their registration fee before the deadline elapses “as NISA looks set to commence the tournament early next month”.
“This will be followed by the balloting of the teams that want to participate in this year’s edition,” Jarju said.
