The
office of the Attorney General and minister of Justice has filed 12 fresh
charges against the former NIA officials before High Court in Banjul, in
connection with the death in state custody of UDP political activist Solo
Sandeng.
The
accused persons - Yankuba Badjie, Louis Gomez, Saikou Omar Jeng, Haruna Suso,
Yusupha Jammeh, Lamin Lang Sanyang, Tamba Masireh, Lamin Darboe and Babucarr
Sillah - are charged with conspiracy to commit felony, misdemeanor, murder,
forgery, among others.
