Speaking on the occasion, Bakary Saibo Sanneh, chairman of Brikama Area Council, expressed his delight over the ceremony.
Chairman Sanneh urged the newly-elected councillor and his colleagues to earnestly serve the people.
He further hailed the political maturity of the electorate in ensuring a smooth and orderly selection and subsequent election.
Mam sait Jallow, Chief Executive Officer of BAC, administered the oath of secrecy and allegiance.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Musa Nyassi, Alkalo of Bwiam, who doubles as the Deputy Regional Governor, councillors and senior staff of the council.
