Gunjur league and Super Cup champions World Eleven have maintained their superb
run of form in the 2013-2014 Gunjur Nawettan after their hard-fought 1-0 win
over QCell FC on 18 August 2013, at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field.
Bubacarr Janneh alias Cesce Fabregas was on target for World Eleven FC in the 66th minute of the game.
On Saturday17 August 2013, Nyokoyorr FC thrashed Kayong Kalorn FC 3-0.
Nyokoyorr opened the scores through striker Aboulie Sanneh in the 55th minute of the game from a superb strike to give his side the lead.
Moments later, Nyokoyorr found themselves 2-0 up in the 65th minute of the game when Abdoulie netted from penalty spot to complete his brace before Fabakary Touray sealed the victory in the dying minutes of the game to earn Nyokoyorr their first win in Gunjur Nawettan.
In the other scores, Dabani Electrical Enterprise Limited FC beat Solifo Investment 1-0, Kajabang FC also beat Sibindinto FC on the same score-line, whilst debutant Alex Sanchaba FC thumped Kulukochi United FC 2-0.
Meanwhile, knockout champions Vidar FC mauled league champions Linguere FC 2-0 in a well-attended Super Cup final game at the Bakau Mini Stadium on Saturday to clinch Bakau Super Cup title.
As champions of Bakau Super Cup, Vidar FC were warded with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D6,000, whilst Linguere FC received D4,000 as runners-up.
