The 2012 summer’s biggest football competition, called Nawettan, continues to gain pace across the country.
Jattas FC thrashed Banjulinding FC 2-0 to maintain their spectacular run of form in the 2012 Lamin Nawettan played at the Late Sanna Jatta Memorial Football Field at the weekend.
Network FC also beat Wayeto West on the same score line.
Elsewhere, Harlem FC defeated Kairaba Forest 1-0 in a tightly contested game played at the Late Sanna Jatta Memorial football field.
Puntalana FC beat New Town FC 5-4 in a post match penalty shoot-out to advance to the semi finals in the ongoing Brikama Nawettan, after a goalless draw in regulation time at the Brikama Box bar Mini Stadium at the weekend.
Meanwhile, World Eleven FC are through to the quarter finals in the ongoing Gunjur Nawettan, following their slender 1-0 win over Kulukochi FC in their group game played at the Gunjur Nyamina football field on Tuesday.
Kulukochi FC finished top spot in their group with 8 five points despite losing to World Eleven FC, who secured second position with 8 points in five games, but Kulukochi FC tops the group based on goal differences.
