In his testimony, officer Kebbeh told the court that on 31 March 2014, he was on duty at the station when he received tip off information concerning the accused, Alasana Sonko.

Upon receiving the information, he led a team of officers to a residence called Dampha Kunda, where they entered into a house and found the accused smoking cannabis.

They introduced themselves as narcotics officers and conducted a search in the room, where they recovered a bundle of cannabis wrapped with a cement paper.

A further search was done inside a cupboard, and they also recovered a traveling black bag that they opened in the presence of the accused person and three big bundles were found inside.

The accused person was arrested and taken to the Wellingara Police Station, where he was interrogated about the drugs found with him and he accepted, and gave his statement at the police station.
