A three-day sports administration and coaching course for Sports Administrators and Nawettan coaches resident in Manjai Kunda ended at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai on Sunday.
The training, organised by the Manjai Youth Development Committee (MYDC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, added value to the standards of both the Gambian sports administrators and the Nawettan coaches brought together to partake in it.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the chairman of the MYDC, Abdoulie Jallow, commended the participants for their dedication, commitment and hard work during the course.
He also urged the participants to make best use of the knowledge gained from the training as well as advised them to impart such knowledge to their club members and colleagues across the country.
"My committee is planning to set up a team that will take part in next year's third division qualifiers and we will make all efforts to ensure the team gain promotion to the second division," the ambitious Jallow told Pointsport.
