Magistrate Drammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court recently convicted and sentenced one Alieu Yusuf to a mandatory jail term of one year in prison with hard labour, upon his own plea of guilt to a charge of stealing.
According to the charge sheet on 26th June 2010 in the Kanifing Maunnicipality, the convict, Alieu Yusuf stole a mobile phone mark M73 Nokia, valued at D5000, being the property of one Mbye Sanneh.
