Magistrate Emmanuel Nkea of the Brikama Magistrates' Court recently convicted and sentenced one Alieu Jawo to a fine of D1000 in default to serve one month in prison following his own plea of guilty to the offence of stealing from a dwelling house.
According to the particulars of the offence, on 25th August 2010 at Brikama in the Western Region, the accused person Alieu Jawo entered into the compound of Hoja Fatou Jallow and Ensa Camara and therein stole two mobile Nokia phones valued at D1300 and LG valued at D2500, being the property of Hoja Fatou Jallow and Ensa Camara.
