Reports aired over GRTS last evening announced the removal of Mr Mambury Njie, the recently redeployed minister of Higher Education, Research Science and Technology from the cabinet.
Njie, who was last Thursday redeployed to Higher Education from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was at one time also the country’s Finance and Economic Affairs minister.
Before then, he was The Gambia’s Ambassador to United Arab Emirates and a former Secretary General at the Office of the President and Head of the Civil Service.
