The annual May Day Sports is set for Sunday 1 May 2016, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The annual event brings together workers from companies and other institutions to interact and participate in various sporting disciplines such as 100 metres, 200 metres, crazy pole and the famous tug of war.
The annual sports event will commence with a march-past by companies and other institutions.
The secretary general of Gambia Works Union and the Minister of Trade and Employment are to deliver speeches at the opening ceremony.
