The 2011 Manjai league champions Darusalam FC will rub shoulders with the 2011 Manjai knockout champions Royal 7 FC in the 2012 Manjai Super Cup final set for today 24 August 2012, at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

The Super Cup final will mark the curtain raiser of the  summer biggest football showdown competition better known as 2012 Manjai Nawettan.

Darusalam FC won last year’s Manjai Super Cup title and will be hoping for a victory in order to retain their last year’s Manjai Super Cup crown for the second successive time.

Royal 7 FC will also be expecting a strong performance against Darusalam FC to snatch a win and clinch the Super Cup title for the first time in the history of the club in Manjai Nawettan.

In a similar development, 2010 Gunjur league champions Commit FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Oxford United FC in their opening group B game of the 2012-2013 Gunjur nawettan competition at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field on Tuesday.

Both Commit FC and Oxford United have bagged a single point each in single games and both sides will be expecting a win in their remaining games in order to stand a better chance of making it into the quarterfinal.
