Magistrate Mbacke of the Bundung Magistrates' Court recently convicted and sentenced one Lamin Barrow to a fine of D250 in default to serve 45 days in prison for stealing from a dwelling house.
According to the particulars of offence, on 13th August 2010, at Fagikunda, Lamin Barrow stole from the dwelling house of one Musa Ceesay a mobile phone of mark LG, valued at D1, 500, being the property of the said Musa Ceesay.
The convict pleaded guilty to the charge preferred against him, and admitted the facts as narrated by the prosecuting officer, 3533 Jarju.
