One Bakary
Saidy was on 5th February 2009 arraigned at the Brikama
Magistrates' Court before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh on charges of wilful
damage to property and criminal trespass.
Count 1, the alleged offence states that 26th January 2009, at Farato village the accused Bakary Saidy wilfully destroyed plates and hurricane lamps valued at D500 being the property of one Isatou Camara.
On count 2, the particulars of the alleged offence, revealed that on the same day, month, place and year, the accused unlawfully entered the compound of Isatou Camara with intent to annoy and insult her, and thereby committed an offence.
When the charge sheet was read in a local language that he understands, he pleaded not guilty.
