A man called Abdou Gaye was
recently arraigned before Magistrate Bojang of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court,
charged with stealing.
The charge sheet read in court stated that the accused, Abdou Gaye, on 10 May 2014 at Manjai Kunda in the Kanifing Municipality, stole two big compactors valued at D200,000 and two small compactors valued at D100,000, being the property of one Alhagie Susso.
He denied the charge, and was granted court bail of D250,000 with a surety who must be a Gambian and swear to an affidavit of means.
The case was adjourned to 8 January 2015, for continuation.
