One Ebrima Cham was recently granted court bail of D50, 000 with two Gambian sureties by the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
Cham was arraigned on a charge of defilement of an underage girl, an allegation he had denied.
According to the charge sheet read in court, Ebrima Cham on 1 February 2012, at Brikama Sanchaba, in the Kombo Central District of the West Coast Region, had carnal knowledge of an underage girl.
The case was adjourned till 19 March 2012.
