The Bundung Magistrates' Court recently granted court bail to one Ousman Gibba in the sum of D5,000 with a Gambian surety for the offence of assault.

Testifying, the complainant told the court that he lives at Latrikunda German and that he knows the accused. He said on the day in question at the garage he met the accused removing a windscreen from a motor vehicle belonging to one of their customers. He said he told the accused to return the items because it belongs to their customer, adding that the accused started to utter insults against him and eventually slapped him on the face. He added that he latter reported the matter to the police and the accused was arrested.
