Man faces theft charge

One Alagie Jallow was yesterday arraigned before Magistrate Ngube of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing.

He pleaded guilty when the charge was read to him, and the case was adjourned till 12 September 2011, for sentence.

According to the particulars of the offence, Alagie Jallow, on 26 July 2011, at WestField in the Kanifing Municipality, stole from the shop of one Saikou Tamba, the following items: cash of D9, 000 and one pair of shoes valued at D350.

The prosecuting officer, Sergeant 1781 Kinteh, stood in for the IGP.
