Magistrate Alagba of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court recently discharged and acquitted one Muhammed Jarra, on a charge of stealing from a dwelling.
According to the charge sheet, on 11 March 2011, at Serrekunda, in the Kanifing Municipality, Muhammed Jarra, entered into the house of one Aji Binta Janneh and stole the following: D45, 000, one gold necklace valued at D84, 400, one gold bangle valued at D63, 000 and one gold earring valued at D20, 000, all being the property of the said Aji Binta Janneh.
