One Abdoulie Beyai, a resident of Bakoteh, on 7 September 2011, denied a charge of theft when he was arraigned before Magistrate Jallow of the Bundung Magistrate’ Court.
Beyai was subsequently granted court bail of D250,000.
The particulars of the offence stated that in February 2011, Beyai fraudulently converted D212,000, to his personal use, being money entrusted to him to buy a compound by one Fatou Saidy.
The case continues.
