Man convicted for willful damage to property

Magistrate Jallow of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court recently convicted and sentenced one Samba Bagayoko to a fine of D5,000 in default to serve six months in prison.

According to the charge sheet, on 4 March 2011, at Kanilai Family Farm Garage in Kanifing, in the Kanifing Municipality, the convict, Samba Bagayoko, destroyed a bus by causing it to be destroyed by fire, the property of the said Kanilai Family Farm Garage.
