A driver accused of rash and negligent act was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
Samuel Sarjo Bass denied the charge and was granted court bail of D500,000 with two Gambian sureties with landed property.
According to the charge sheet, on 17 December 2011, at Kiti Village, the defendant, Samuel Sarjo Bass, drove a motor vehicle with registration number, BJL 2169C, in a rash and negligent manneh, which caused the death of one Kalifa Mendy.
