Alleged criminal trespass case continues

The case of criminal trespass involving one Sherriff Kebbeh, a tailor, continued recently at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.

Testifying as the first prosecution witness (PW1), Sira Konteh, told the court that she knew the accused.

She said she was at home together with Satou and Isatou watching TV when the accused came and entered into their house without greeting them.

PW1 said the accused asked for her mother and was told she was sleeping inside her room. The accused asked for the key of the tailoring shop, where he used to work and she told him that the key was with her mother, she explained.

According to her, the accused forced her to wake up her mother but she refused, stating that the accused insulted her and said she was not disciplined by her mother.

The case at that juncture was adjourned till 9 January 2012.
