Man arraigned for multiple offences

Magistrate Emmanuel Nkea of the Brikama Magistrates' Court recently heard a criminal case of threatening violence, impersonation and criminal trespass against one Babucarr Edward Kora.

Babucarr Edward Kora was granted a court bail in the sum of D100,000 with a Gambian surety.

According to the particulars of offence in count one, on 25th August 2010 at Lamin village in Kombo North district, Babucarr Edward Kora threatened to kill one Lamin Jarju.

Count two stated that on 26th August 2010 at Lamin village, the accused person impersonated a police officer to a taxi driver, one Alieu Jallow.

Count three stated that on 25th August 2010 at Lamin village, Babucarr Edward Kora entered the compound of one Lamin Jarju with intent to annoy or intimidate him.

The case was adjourned to 12th October 2010 for continuation.
