Man arraigned for felony

A man called Ousman Jallow was on Monday arraigned before Magistrate Tabally of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court for attempting to commit felony.

Mr Jallow, who denied the charge leveled against him, was subsequently granted bail of D15,000 with a Gambian with ID card who must be resident within the jurisdiction.

According to the charge sheet, the accused Ousman Jallow, on 7 January 2011, at Jimpex in Kanifing, attempted to commit a felony by using a key to open the car of the complainant Peter Wilson.

The prosecuting officer, first Class 2118 Gomez applied for an adjournment to invite witnesses.

The trial magistrate granted the application made by the prosecutor and adjourned the case till 31st January 2011.
