One Simon Secka was recently arraigned before Magistrate Ibrahim Kijera of the Bundung Magistrate Court, charged with attempting to commit a felony, a charge he denied.
According to the particulars of offence, on 4 June 2013, at Tranquil village, Kombo North, West Coast Region , the accused, Simon Secka, attempted to commit a felony at Papaya residence, to wit stealing, thereby committed an offence.
When the charge was read over to him in the language he claimed to understand, he denied the charges preferred against him, and was granted court bail of D5,000.
The prosecuting officer, at that juncture, applied for an adjournment to enable him to call his witnesses, which was granted.
The case was then adjourned till 8 July 2013.
