A man called Kanjura Fatty was
recently arraigned before Magistrate Hilary Abeke of the Kanifing Magistrates’
Court, charged with common assault.
When the charge sheet was read to him, he denied it and was granted court bail of D5,000 with one Gambian surety.
The particulars of offence stated that the accused, Kanjura Fatty, on 5 May 2013, at Kanifing court, in the Kanifing Municipality, assaulted one Alhagie Alpha Omar Jallow, by hitting him on his face with his hand.
Hearing continues on 27 May 2013.
