One Lamin
Camara of Banyika Village was recently arraigned before Principal Magistrate
Dayo Small of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with giving false
information.
The particulars of offence stated that the accused, Lamin Camara, on 7 June 2010, at Banyika village, in Kombo South, West Coast Region, gave to a public servant, information believed to be false.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D10,000 with a Gambian surety.
Hearing continues.
In a separate development, one Ansu Kebbeh of Brikama was also arraigned before the same court for stealing from a dwelling house.
The particulars of offence stated that on 18 June 2014, at Brikama, the accused entered into the dwelling house of one Awa Keita and stole a Samsung mobile phone valued at D700.
He denied the charge and was granted bail of D2,500
