The Brikama Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Fred Foster recently heard a criminal case of stealing brought against one Amadou Tijan Jallow of Brikama.
According to the particulars of the offence, the accused Amadou Tijan Jallow on 7th August 2009 at Brikama stole a pedal bicycle valued at D1,500 (One thousand five hundred dalasi), being the property of one Momodou Haddy Bah.
When the charge was read and interpreted to him in the local language he claimed to understand he pleaded not guilty.
Meanwhile, he was granted court bail in the sum of D3, 000 with one Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 7th September 2009.
