One Modou Lamin Babou was on 6 July 2012 arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Jallow for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl.
The particulars of offence stated that the accused, Modou Lamin Babou, in December 2011, at London Corner, unlawfully had carnal knowledge of a girl 14 years old.
The accused, however, denied the charge, and was remanded in custody.
Prosecutor 3560 Colley represented the Inspector General of Police.
The case was adjourned till 10 July 2012.
