Makan Bi
over the weekend beat Macdonald United 1-0 in the quarter final clash played at
the Banjul KG 5 Mini Stadium to progress to semi final in the 2014 Banjul
Nawetan league.
It was not an easy to cross as both sides launched several goal scoring attempts at each other’s goal mouth.
Makan Bi were able to utilize on their limited goalkeeper and nurture in a single goal to snatch a place in the semi final.
The defeat saw Macdonald United out and will be going back to the drawing board and prepare for next season.
Elsewhere, Fire House defeated the reining league Man City 2-1 to advance to the Knock out semi final.
