Makan Bi have maintained their unbeaten record in the 2013-2014 Banjul Nawettan after beating Afia Bi in a mouth- watering clash played recently at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.
The game, characterised by delightful exhibition of talents and skills, attracted large crowds from Banjul and its environs.
Muhammed Samba was on target for Makan Bi in the 60th minute of the game from an astonishing strike to give his side the lead.
The win has put Makan Bi on top of their group with10 points in four games and are on the verge of making it to the second round of the Nawettan.
Elsewhere, Karaba United were held to a 1-1 draw in the ongoing Sukuta Nawettan game played at the Dembadou Mini Stadium on Tuesday.
