Mahad Nurr are through to the final of the senior category of the Arabic Schools Tournament following their 4-2 victory over Omar Bun Khajab during penalty shoot-outs after a 90th minute battle, which ended 0-0 in a semi-final encounter at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium on Tuesday 20th April 2010.
Both teams put up brilliant performance and showed wonderful talents during the period of the game, but could not break the deadlock.
Earlier on the same day, in the 3pm kick-off at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium, Abubacarr Sidiq defeated Emadou Deen by 5-1 in the junior category semi-final encounter to also book a ticket to the final.
Yahya Dibba netted in the first and second goals of the game for Abubacarr Sidiq in the 5th and 10th minutes of the game.
Ebrima Jarjusey also registered a brace for Abubacarr Sidiq in the 38th and 59th minutes of the game, while Lamin Bojang registered his name on the score sheet for Abubacarr Sidiq in the 55th minute of the game.
Yankuba Darboe scored Emadou Deen's consolation goal in the 56th minute of the game.
