Lasana Awa Susoko to storm Banjul Sunday

Preparations have been completed for Lasana Awa Susoko, a Malian musician based in France, to storm The Gambia on Sunday to give people of the country a treat by performing live on Tuesday at the Joint Officers Mess in Kotu.

On Wednesday, the international musician will stage another concert at the Semega Janneh Hall in Tallinding, before trouping to Basse where he is expected to entertain majority of his fans at an occasion organised by the Sarahule Youths Association in The Gambia.

Briefing Point's Entertainment about his visit to the country, Papa Touray, a member of the association, said the coming of the Malian musician to The Gambia was facilitated by the Sarahule Youth Association to bring all Sarahules in The Gambia closer amid also a show of pomp and pageantry.

He told Entertainment that the other purpose of the concerts is to raise funds for the association.

Papa Touray therefore called on all Sarahules living in the Greater Banjul Area to come out in droves to witness spectacular and wonderful concerts on Tuesday and Wednesday.

He also thanked Youki for their "wonderful support" in providing drinks and T-shirts for the association.
