Lamin FC on Sunday defeated Kaira Silo 2-0 in week thirteen encounter of the ongoing GFA second division league at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Lamin FC open the score through striker Zack Obega in the 14th minute. Both teams fought hard and created lots of scoring opportunities before the break but could not found each others goal mouth and the first half ended 1-0 in favour of Lamin FC.
As action resumes in the second half of the game Omar Njie had a clear chance to equalise for Kaira Silo but could not find Lamin FC goal mouth. Lamin FC who were hungry for a victory increased the score through their play maker Maimuna Saidy in the 85th minute for a 2-0 victory.
Lamin FC now has 15 points from twelve games with a game in hand while Kaira Silo has 10 points from thirteen games.
Elsewhere on Saturday second place GPA drew 2-2 with Ham Ham at Brikama Mini Stadium.
