Lamin Basketball team has rejuvenated their lead in the ongoing Late Pa Modou Sarr Memorial Basketball Tournament after recording a convincing win of 50 points to 28 over Bakau United Basketball team in group A game, played at the Serrekunda West Basketball Courts recently.
Sports House Basketball team has also extended their lead in the tournament after beating struggling Porcupine Basketball team 34 points to 31 in group B.
In other scores, YMCA beat Serrekunda West 40 points to 30 in group B, Wallidan defeated Lamin 42 points to 41 in group A, Serrekunda East edged past Bakau United 46 points to 37 in group A, and YMCA beat Porcupine 21 points to 20 in group B.
The tournament is organised in the memory of Late Pa Modou, who died in a car incident in the United States of America in 2004.
