One Joko
Konteh of Brikama Sanchaba on24thSeptember 2008testified in the trial of one Jabou Darboe who is being charged
withassault causing actual bodily harm.
In her
testimony before the court PW1, Joko Konteh, told the court that on8thAugust 2008 while she was from the hospital
going home, she found the accused person sitting with some people in
front of one compound. She said when the accused saw her coming shewent by the fence and dropped a pair of
trousers on top of the fence and she put on a wrapper on top of the trouser.
Then shetold her that you told Mamo
Cham that I slept around. She said there she told the accused that since Mamo
and his brother broke into my house I will not talk to Mamo Cham. I only came
to the hospital, she said. She added that the accused later hit her with cable
wire and there she reported the matter to the Brikama Police Station..
The case
was adjourned to 29thSeptember.
