Lady Charged with Concealment of Birth

One Binta Koi Saidy of Lamin Village was on 4th June 2009 arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh charge with concealment of birth of a child.

According to the particulars of the offence, on or about the 26th April 2009, at Lamin Village, Kombo North, the accused Binta Koi Saidy gave birth to a baby boy and concealed the birth.

Meanwhile the accused was remanded in custody until the next adjourned date of 10th June 2009.
