Magistrate Bojang of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court recently convicted and sentenced one Abdou Drammeh to a mandatory jail-term of six months in prison, after he admitted to the offence of stealing.
The charge sheet read that on 4 April 2015, at Kotu in the Kanifing Municipality, he stole a ladder valued at D500, the property of one Ebrima Camara.
